Digital Harm
The Community Cohesion Enhancement Project aims to study and understand the impact of the digital world on individuals and society, with a focus on the risks and negative behaviors associated with the use of digital platforms, such as misinformation, cyberbullying, body image pressure, and content manipulation. The project seeks to raise awareness and promote digital responsibility in a way that positively contributes to strengthening social cohesion.
The project is based on a range of interactive and research-driven activities that combine awareness-raising with data collection, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of individuals’ experiences with digital harm and to develop effective community-based responses.
1. Interactive Theatre Shows – 7 Performances
The Community Cohesion Enhancement Initiative delivered seven interactive theatrical performances in Irbid, Mafraq, Amman, Karak, Ma’an, Zarqa, and Russeifa. The performances addressed contemporary issues related to the digital world, such as misinformation, body image pressure, and image manipulation, through realistic scenes that stimulate critical thinking and discussion





2. Focus Lab – 4 sessions
The sessions aim to present awareness videos on digital risks, followed by data collection to assess participants’ understanding and enhance digital awareness and social responsibility.






3. Focus group- 4 sessions
Focus group discussions were conducted in four governorates (Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, and Karak) to gather the views and feedback of a group of individuals on the topic of digital harm and its impact on their lives.
